First Scottish Championship race of 2006.
Jethro Lennox won in 65:59. Angela Mudge was first lady in 76:12. I finished 28th in 77:38.
(Although given as a record, Angela ran 75:16 in 2000)
The fastest recorded times for the Ben Lomond race are as follows:
Men - 1:02:16 by John Wild in 1983, set when the race was a British Championship counter, and the same year he set a Ben Nevis record of 1:25:35, which was beaten the following year by 1 second by Kenny Stuart.
Women - 1:11:57 by Beverley Redfern in 1990, the same year she won the World Cup.
