In preparation for the Dumfries Marathon on March 19th, I decided to go and recce the route.
Dumfries Marathon Route Dumfries Railway Station The race starts at Dumfries Police Station Mouswald Cemetery Mouswald Church Brow Well - popular bathing spot for Rabbie Burns The halfway point Bankend The beautiful, unspoilt Solway Coast Impressive house at Kenneth Bank Estuary of River Nith Glencaple alongside the Nith Conheath Lodge House Netherwood Mains Crichton Royal Hospital Crichton Memorial Church Crichton Memorial Church Crichton Memorial Church
