The usual freezing-cold stampede round the Pentlands. The race was won for the 2nd time by Rob Jebb in 48:50. Angela Mudge won the ladies race in 56:19.
I struggled round in 60:40, failing to beat the hour for the second year in a row.

Not an area of Glasgow I'd ever been to before. Once a 1960s planner's dream, now barely fit for human habitation - the Red Road Tower Blocks at Balornock. When built, they were the tallest flats in Europe.

Cold and raw evening, until you started running, at which point is was OK.
Small, elite field - Graham (Lock 27 virgin), Blair, Cat, Nathan and myself.
Charlie did the honours with the time-keeping.

A fantastic run by Bowland 'A' Team saw them winning the event outright for the first time, against strong opposition from Borrowdale, Clayton and Bingley.
I ran Leg 5 for Bowland Vets with Tim Kelly. Pretty grim weather, but a good event and plenty of opportunities for driving other people's cars.
