The race was won by Robert Gilroy of Cambuslang in a new course record of 41:50. First lady was Rebecca Moore, City of Edinburgh. I finished 6th overall and 1st V40 in 46:13. That was 1:44 quicker than last year's time.

Another race. Another PB. Finished 22nd (and 4th V40) in 28:04, knocking 1:31 off my previous best.
Almost got under 28 minutes, but died a bit in the final 150 metres.

Chatelherault 5k Trail Race

Fine cool frosty morning. Beautiful setting for a race, starting and finishing in front of Chatelherault House. Ran the first km or so with David Riach, until I pressed on into 3rd position. Eventually got knocked back to 4th place after the descent of the wooden steps. Robert Gilroy of Cambuslang won the race, with Claire Thompson of Bellahouston first lady.

Carnethy 5 Hill Race

Fine sunny weather for the 37th Carnethy 5 Hill Race. Rob Jebb won in a fast time of 47:59, with Jethro Lennox 2nd and Scott Fraser 3rd. Angela Mudge was first lady in 56:09. I managed a PB of 56:26, finishing 26th overall, and 5th vet.
