My first race and proper run since dropping out of the Mont Blanc Ultra three weeks ago. Not really race-fit at the moment, so found it harder than I was expecting. Ran most of the second half with Bellahouston's Andy Birnie, and finished 5 seconds behind Andy in 37:22. Robert Gilroy of Cambuslang won the race in 31:54, with City of Glasgow's Susan Finch finishing 1st lady in 37:47.
