Stob Ghabhar (almost)
A hike up Stob Ghabhar and Stob a' Choire Odhair from Victoria Bridge.
Actually the weather turned pretty manky on the ridge to Stob Ghabhar, so we turned round before reaching the summit. The descent back to the col was down steep rock-hard névé and required some care. After that the re-ascent to Stob a' Choire was a tiring plod in soft deep powder snow.

Greenmantle Dash
My 9th Greenmantle Dash in a row. I hadn't raced for more than 2 months and was suffering with strained adductors and groin pain, so I just faffed around taking photos rather than racing properly.
After the race I went for a jog back up the hill with Andy Kitchin.

Snowy Dumgoyne
New Year's Day outing up Dumgoyne.
I bumped into Helen Stuart and Dougie MacGregor from Bellahouston the first time I was descending, so I turned round and went back up. I then saw Kenny Richmond way off in the distance returning from Garloch Hill, so I jogged off to intercept him for a quick chat, and then headed up Garloch Hill myself, before turning back and climbing Dumgoyne for a 3rd and final time.

Snowy Ochils
Snowy New Year's Eve outing from Dollar with JD.
It took almost 4 hours to complete an 8 mile circuit of King's Seat, Tarmangie and Whitewisp, wading through deep soft snow.

Let It Snow
Hyndland and Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow
After giving up with the Balloch to Clydebank, I decided to go sledging in Kelvingrove Park instead.

Winter Wonderland
Hyndland, Glasgow
Woke up this morning to a Winter Wonderland
No official word, but I'm guessing the Balloch to Clydebank Half Marathon was cancelled.

Snowy Ben Lomond
A small elite field gathered at Rowardennan on Thursday morning for a festive potter up Ben Lomond. Blair and Shona were fastest on the day, quickly vanishing into the mist. Next were Trevor, Donald and myself, followed by Fraser and Matilda. Quite icy on the path lower down, but nice crisp runnable snow on the summit ridge, with swirling clouds and atmospheric glimpses of Loch Lomond.
