Duddon Sands

25th January 2007, Near Barrow-in-Furness
Cold and cloudy, but just enough light from the half moon for a run along Duddon Sands in the dark. Quite slow - 47 minutes for 9km.

Adrian Callan

28/11/62 - 16/1/2007, Aged 44
My good friend and work colleague passed away last Tuesday after a 2½ year battle with leukaemia. Adrian was not only one of the nicest guys you would ever meet, but was also one of the top Scottish athletes during the 1980's - and one of the very few Scottish athletes to break the 4-minute mile barrier. An enormous number of people turned out to Adrian's funeral yesterday at Bishopbriggs.
